Make Your Own Spirit Rattle with Claire Marie & Marlys Rusker

A Spirit Rattle is a Shamanic Tool used by our Indigenous brothers and sisters as Medicine Women & Medicine Men. This tool is used to connect the spiritual and physical worlds as well as loosen or break apart blocked or stagnant energy.

In this class, we will create our own ceramic rattles and add our own intention and stamp to our tools.

Marlys Rusker is a ceramic artist who will help usher us into a wonderful creative space as Claire Marie moves us through Shamanic energy and symbolism that helps us capture our intentions in clay.

Class investment: $50 all tools and clay provided.

Bio of Marlys:

I began working with clay in 1996 as a resident student at Pendle Hill, a Quaker retreat center in Wallingford, Pennsylvania. What began as a healing, spirit-led exploration became a lifelong relationship with this gift of Mother Earth. After returning home, I deepened my skills through classes at Inver Hills Community College and the Edina Art Center. Today, I share my passion with clay as a healing medium, blending a grounding technique with spirit so others can listen to and experience what the clay has to teach.
